Description

Si Como No Spa and Wildlife Refuge is one of the best-known and most celebrated boutique resort hotels in Costa Rica. It is the gateway to Manuel Antonio National Park and the crown jewel of the Greentique Hotels Collection.

Si Como No, welcoming families as well as couples, is a fully-contained oasis with two full-service restaurants, a family pool with a water slide, and a separate adult pool — both of which have swim-up bars and poolside service. In addition, the resort features a 45-seat THX movie theater that shows films every night. What stands out most is our hotel’s ability to immerse you in a Costa Rican experience born of the surrounding habitat. You are in the jungle, you are completely comfortable, and you will remember your time here for the rest of your life.

Serenity Spa offers world-class spa treatments and the friendly, personalized service is consistently noted among the most exceptional in the country.

An adjacent 30-acre private wildlife refuge features a Butterfly Botanical Garden, a crocodile lagoon, and guided tours by nationally certified naturalists and biologists. Si Como No offers its guests several adventure-based tours and activities including the Santa Juana Mountain Adventure, a guided nature, conservation, and cultural expedition that many of our guests have rated as their #1 experience in Costa Rica.

Making a Difference

Si Como No was the first hotel in the Greentique Hotels chain in Costa Rica and, since its inception, one of the hotel’s priority objectives has been to conserve the environment, protecting the natural physical environment, as well as social and cultural aspects. We are one of the first and few hotels in Costa Rica to receive "five leaves" - the highest rating available from the Certification for Sustainable Tourism program (CST).

Our entire staff understands that natural resources are key factors in the success of the hotel and tourism in general, and that without these attractions there will be no tourists. This is why we guarantee to our customers:

  • A clean environment, free of pollution in rivers, the ocean, or in the air we breathe, to ensure the health of the travelers and of the community they visit.
  • A healthy and educated community that can offer our clients the necessary services and the atmosphere of peace and tranquility they seek.

As part of our philosophy of conserving the magic of nature, we encourage our staff to become familiar with our organization’s policies and standards, including our eco-mission - vision: "At Hotel Si Como No, we want to perpetuate the magic of nature. To this end, we seek harmony through the collaboration of our staff and our guests."

Through the promotion of environmentally-responsible practices, we control and reduce the hotel’s impact on the environment, encourage other businesses to join our effort, and we work hand in hand with organizations that work on education, sustainability, protecting natural resources, and benefiting the community.
