Description

The Riviera Maya has the second largest coral reef in the world; extending from the Yucatan to Guatemala, it is un underwater paradise for snorkeling and diving. Mayakoba has an 18-hole golf course called The Chameleon. Designed by famed golfer Greg Norman, it incorporates tropical jungle, dense mangroves, and sandy areas by the sea.

The Riviera Maya includes magical towns like Tulum, a walled archeological site located on a cliff by the sea, where you can enjoy unrivaled beaches. Another site that stands out for its beauty and importance is Cobá, an ancient city nestled in the jungle and surrounded by lakes that was once distinguished as the capital of the southern Maya empire. The Riviera Maya offers tranquility as well as lively and cosmopolitan places such as Playa del Carmen, a quiet fishing village that now showcases hotels, restaurants, bars, and internationally renowned shops.
