Rainforest Adventures Costa Rica Atlantic
This 1,200-acre (475-hectare) sanctuary needs no introduction. The first of its kind, the Rainforest Adventures Costa Rica Atlantic aerial tram offers the best way to discover the Caribbean rainforest, from the roots up to the canopy.
Sharing its borders with the world famous Braulio Carrillo National Park, this private reserve displays unspoiled beauty and nature's most bountiful treasures. Since 1994, it has become a regular stop on many itineraries.
Rainforest Adventures Atlantic is a convenient stop for travelers on the way to the Caribbean Coast, or makes an excellent day trip from San José or Sarapiquí.
Visitors with mobility aids can access most of the park facilities such as the visitors' center, the Rain Forest Cafe, the gift shop, and the restrooms, which have large stalls equipped with hand rails. Many of our walkways are surfaced with crushed gravel, making them more accessible and suitable for light wheeled transportation devices, even after a light rain.
Rain Forest Aerial Tram Lodge

Our ecolodge is surrounded by the sublime beauty of the rainforest. Guests can truly appreciate the magic of rainforest life at night without leaving the comforts of home behind. Our lodge shares facilities and services with Rainforest Adventures Costa Rica Atlantic.
The experience in our lodge: being awakened by the singing of birds, finding a colorful morpho butterfly (Morpho sp.) on your front step, watching nature’s utter majesty, and letting the forest and all its shades of green embrace you. These are all ways our guests can experience our lodge.

The rainforest is the richest living community on our planet, and we strive to protect it. Thanks to our wide-reaching initiatives and positive results, the Costa Rican Ministry of Environment, Energy and Telecommunications awarded us with the Ecological Flag, which is given to businesses and institutions whose actions benefit the environment and encourage the implementation of environmentally-friendly systems. Several factors are taken into account when giving this award, including ensuring the development of a healthy and ecologically-balanced environment, as well as forging a path towards sustainable development through strong policies and environmental consciousness.
We truly care about the rainforest, and are proud to share a few of the conservation practices that we use and teach on a daily basis:
We offer special prices for groups larger than three people and we have discounts for children. We offer special rates on the trekking tour, birding tour, canopy tour, butterfly and frog garden, and snake exhibits for lodge guests.
