Description

Hotel Pedacito De Cielo is a beautiful ecolodge on the banks of the San Carlos River in the northern zone of Costa Rica. We are in the San Juan – La Selva Biological Corridor and we were declared a pioneer gateway site of the Costa Rican Bird Route by the Rainforest Biodiversity Group. We have a private reserve only 1.2 miles (2 km) from the hotel with numerous trails where you can see the rainforest, animals, and native vegetation. There is also a lagoon with docks to explore and watch birds including toucans, parakeets, hummingbirds, red-winged blackbirds, and more.

We have an excellent guide who can show you our abundant flora and fauna. After a rich breakfast you can visit the reserve, walk the trails, visit the lagoon, or go horseback riding. After a lunch to recharge your batteries, you can go down the San Carlos River in a raft or kayak, and end the day with a spectacular dinner amid the marvelous sounds of nocturnal wildlife. In our restaurant you can enjoy a variety of international dishes prepared with great dedication. You can also see how the dishes are prepared, a very enjoyable experience.

Since Pedacito de Cielo is a small hotel, you will receive our warm, very personalized service. Our partners understand and live this philosophy day by day, offering first-class service to ensure the satisfaction of our guests throughout their stay.
