Making a Difference

Number of employees: 8

Percentage of local employees: 80%

To help conserve the environment and biodiversity, we protect 556 acres (225 hectares) of primary and secondary rainforest. In this area, we prohibit hunting and cutting down trees.

We minimize environmental impacts by using only biodegradable products, energy-efficient light bulbs, eliminating unnecessary night-time lighting, separating waste, recycling as much as possible, conserving water, and using septic tanks for black and gray waters.

We contribute to local sustainable development by purchasing our supplies from local communities and using local services. We support the well-being of local people by employing and training them, and also assisting with medical problems.
