The Hotel Plaza Colón is across from Parque Colón, also known as Parque Central, in the historic city of Granada.
Granada is a colonial city with emblematic architecture. It is surrounded by naturally beautiful places such as volcanic islands, Apoyo crater lake, the Mombacho and Masaya volcanoes, and the Masaya artisan’s market.
The hotel is in an old and elegant colonial house that has been restored to its original style and architecture, with inner courtyards and balconies with views of the Central Park and the Cathedral.
You can enjoy the refreshing pool and there is a parking lot with round-the-clock security.

At Hotel Plaza Colón we make a special effort to hire only local employees and to use local providers. We also sponsor an environmental education program at the Pedro Joaquín Chamorro School in the community of El Diamante (on the shore of the lake).
We are directly involved in resolving environmental zoning problems that affect the city, through the National Chamber of Tourism (CANATUR) in Granada. Right now we are trying to set up an inter-institutional commission to address the subject of child exploitation and homeless children. We are also in charge of providing a sustainable solution to the problem of waste left by horse-drawn carriages in the city.
