Making a Difference

Number of employees: 24

Percentage of local employees: 100%

Hotel Mono Azul donates time and resources to the conservation organization Kids Saving the Rainforest, hosting their tree nursery, headquarters, and store.

The hotel works hard to be environmentally-friendly by conserving water; recycling all cans, bottles; and glass; and recycling unused bars of soap and toilet paper in the guest rooms. All of these items go the public schools, poor families, and Manuel Antonio National Park.

The hotel also trains other local businesses in recycling.

We help local domestic animals by providing spaying and neutering and food, and take in rescued animals.
