The village of Salinas is an enclave in the Andean paramo of the Bolívar province, with exuberantly beautiful cliffs and mountains, mineral water springs, and diverse climates that invite you to participate in a unique and unforgettable experience.

We support the community and we carry out actions to benefit the environment, thanks to support from students in the Bio-analysis program of the Politécnica Salesiana, and NGOs.
The community development model we have used for 36 years has made this town a model example. More than 30 small businesses and community-based enterprises create jobs for local people, giving added value to the region's raw materials, promoting respect for the environment, and strengthening groups and organizations toward creating a sustainable local economy.

Travel time to nearest airport: Salinas is approximately five hours from Quito and from Guayaquil.
Access is year-round in any kind of vehicle.
From Quito or Guayaquil, you can travel in buses of the Atenas, Flota Bolívar, or San Pedrito cooperatives. Buses leave every half hour.
