Finca Esperanza Verde is one of the best places in Nicaragua for bird-watching - most of our guests visit us to hit the trails to see the birds. The other attraction is our shade-grown organic coffee; we have received several awards for our coffee in Nicaragua and many visitors come to see our ecological crop system.

Finca Esperanza Verde is a non-profit business; our goal is to stimulate local social and economic development through the creation of quality employment, support to local markets, and direct donations to the non-governmental organization "Sister Communities of San Ramon Nicaragua (SCSRN)", which works in the local community on programs and projects to improve quality of life throughout this municipality.
Finca Esperanza Verde participates in the Pack for a Purpose program, where guests can bring school supplies, medical supplies, and other small items from home to donate to the local community. Guests simply drop off their donation at the hotel's front desk, and Finca Esperanza Verde will deliver it for them.
