Description
Hotel Casa del Árbol Centro was created to help maintain the historic heritage of the city by conserving and preserving an antique family home in the old, centrally located Barrio Guamilito of San Pedro Sula. While it was being remodeled, the original, traditional design of the house, typical of the banana companies of the northern coast of Honduras, was conserved and an attracive mixture of different natural elements such as stones, precious woods, and ironwork was combined with a variety of plants and flowers to create a pleasant and comfortable setting.
The hotel’s name comes from a beautiful mango tree growing inside the building that reaches up to the roof, giving the impression that it is holding it up.
