Description

Andean Adventures Peru was founded in 1985 and is a market leader in cultural travel, adventure travel, and ecotourism in Peru. We offer a variety of itineraries and provide customized tours for individuals and groups. Based in Cusco, we are right at the heart of any itinerary in Peru. With more than 27 years of experience, we are able to offer services in Peru through programs that range from the Pacific coast to the Andes and the Amazon Basin. We are the official operators of the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu under the guidelines designed to responsibly manage the Machu Picchu Historical Sanctuary. This also applies to all of our treks.

Because we operate all of our own services, we are fully responsible for the quality of service we provide and able to offer the most competitive prices available anywhere. As a Peruvian-owned company, our local knowledge, expertise, and contribution to the local economy are beyond question.

We have new programs both to and far beyond Machu Picchu, including the attractions of northern Peru and the Amazon region. We own lodges located in stunning locations: Manu Cloud Forest and Tambopata National Reserve.

We are working to establish our new Cusco reforestation program. We began planting the first 10,000 native Andean trees last year during the rainy season to ensure that they thrive and help return Cusco to its original state. It is often forgotten that some five hundred years ago, the hills around Cusco and its surrounding villages were covered with native trees, and that these forests sheltered local fauna, particularly birds.

We have agreements with four local communities around Cusco, where we reforest their land and provide the labor needed to plant the trees and care for them until they are well established.
