Description

Founded in 1992, Expediciones Apullacta is dedicated to involving tourists in a unique and unforgettable experience through coexistence with nature, ancestral communities, and adventure and creating environmental awareness and respect for biodiversity.

We offer two tours:

• Shared tours in the city of Cuenca: those who are traveling alone or who prefer to be part of a group visit their desired destination with an established itinerary for a specific number of days.
• Private tours in Cuenca and country-wide: aimed at people who want exclusive service. We design each tour in accord with the needs of our clients based on a detailed analysis of their requirements to ensure their complete satisfaction.

We have tourism services in four regions of the country: Andes, Pacific coast, the Amazon, and the Galapagos Islands, as well as in the neighboring country of Peru. We also offer air fares, assistance in the country’s national and international airports, and tourist transportation services (buses, microbuses, automobiles).

Making a Difference

For Expediciones Apullacta, environmental conservation is more than a business policy, it’s a lifestyle. We instill the importance of moderate natural resource use in our personnel and clients and we reuse wastes. There is no better way to educate than by example!

We include visits to local communities in our programs and routes and we encourage visitors to get to know and appreciate the autochthonous culture and beliefs, to respect nature, and to embark on this new challenge to make small changes with sustainable actions.
