In Guatemala, the heart of the Mayan world, you will find yourself in a region that conserves "live" Maya culture. At a point of convergence between the Kakchiqueles, Tzutujiles, and Quichés ethnic groups, Sololá has a landscape that is alive with the colors of typical Mayan clothes and the changing blue and green of Lake Atitlan and its three volcanoes. Around the lake, called the Espejo del Cielo ("sky mirror" in Spanish), you enter a mystical world, filled with fantasy and tradition. In Panajachel, the largest town on the lake, you will be wrapped up in the unimaginable mysticism of the world’s most beautiful lake and the nightlife that the characterize the area.
At 4,921 feet (1,500 meters) in altitude, Lake Atitlán, the Tolimán volcano, Santiago volcano, and San Pedro volcano create a magical backdrop, one that is worth getting to know in order to enjoy the charm of being, for a moment, in a landscape imagining the most beautiful dreams of Aldous Huxley himself.
Our special interest is serving you; this is reflected in our rooms, our cuisine, our gardens, and above all, our dedication to service.
30 rooms with a view of Lake Atitlán. There are decorated with details from the region that reflect Guatemalan culture.
