Hotel Quelitales is in Peñas Blancas de Cachi, in the famous Orosi Valley of the Cartago province. This area is nestled among the rainforests of the mountains that harbor a wide variety of plants, including a significant number and variety of orchids--even miniature ones that are very hard to find. The hotel is on the back side of Tapantí National Park and is part of a biological corridor, so we also enjoy a rich animal fauna with more than 500 species of exotic birds.
From this area, you can visit attractions such as the Irazu and Turrialba volcanoes, Guayabo National Monument, Tapantí National Park, the Lankester Botanical Garden, and more.
Six spacious bungalows offer the privacy, elegance, class, and comfort you are looking for. They have a rustic exterior and an interesting, modern decor inside.
The beds have luxury memory foam mattresses.

Ours is a Costa Rican business of Cachí natives, which is why we are extremely committed to respecting our destination’s environment. We have been establishing good business relationships with other local companies and are creating new jobs.
Our sustainable business offers support to organized groups in the community of Cachi and its surroundings. Sometimes we give them cash donations and tips from the hotel or the Casa José restaurant, and we always provide materials for recycling so that these groups can sell them.
