Description

The Whales and Dolphins Hotel and Restaurant is a boutique resort in Uvita, on the lush Osa Peninsula in southern Costa Rica. We are 659 feet (201 meters) above sea level, and from the hotel you can appreciate breathtaking views of the sea, the famous “whale tail” of Ballena Marine National Park (a sandbar connecting the island and the mainland in the shape of a whale’s tail), and incredible sunsets that paint the sky orange and scarlet red.

We have friendly, professional, bilingual (English-Spanish) staff that will ensure you have a pleasant experience during your visit. We have a stunning restaurant, bar, and lounge with the natural treasures offered by Costa Rica’s southern Pacific region and a large number of fun natural and cultural activities to enjoy.

Rooms

20 standard rooms with king-size and single bed, coffee maker, mini-refrigerator, and the amenities listed below. Every room has a private balcony overlooking the sea.

• We work with the local community on beach cleanup campaigns.
• We train our staff on issues related to environmental conservation.
• We separate solid wastes and take them to a treatment plant.

• We find opportunities for students of the community to do internships and in this way contribute to their academic, professional, and personal training.
• The tours we offer are contracted out to local businesses.
