Description

Families, couples, seniors, and students with any kind of camera can photograph toucans, hummingbirds, and other exotic wildlife that appear within seven feet (two meters) of our covered pavilion. Guests can also explore the nature trails that lead to the river.

As a result of reforestation efforts carried out over the past 25 years, Costa Rica Nature Pavilion has become the home and feeding grounds of more than 225 bird species, including half of the species in Sarapiqui, giving it one of the highest diversities of bird species in Costa Rica.

Local high school students are mentored in the skills necessary to operate a successful ecotourism business.
