Description

In the city of San Francisco de Quito, a World Heritage Site, is the Hotel Patio Andaluz, a national monument that safeguards centuries of history within its walls.

One of the main charms of the Hotel Patio Andaluz Quito is its privileged location in the historic center of Quito, only a few steps from Independence Plaza; the Government Palace; the cathedral and the churches of Sagrario, San Agustín, San Francisco, La Compañía, La Merced, La Basílica del Voto Nacional, and Santo Domingo; the Alberto Mena Caamaño Museum; the Numismatic Museum; the Sucre Theatre; and countless buildings that have become witnesses to the most important events in the country.

The building is part of the original estate grounds that formed the city of San Francisco de Quito when it was founded. It is an antique house in the colonial style. Dances of the innocents with costumed dancers were held in its inner courtyards at the end of the 19th century. These cultural legacies that merge with the particular tranquility of a colonial-era house endorse its presence in the historic heart of Quito.
