Morgan's Rock is more than a beautiful hotel - it is a comprehensive project for nature conservation, community development, and reforestation, offering eco- and agro-tourism. We are located on a 4,446-acre (1,800-hectare) farm, of which 1,976 acres (800 acres) are primary forest and the remaining 2,470 acres (1,000 acres) have been planted with 1.5 million timber and fruit trees in order to restore habitat for local wildlife species, many of which are endangered.
All staff members are Nicaraguan and the hotel has provided training about the importance of serving our guests and protecting our natural resources. We also develop community assistance programs by arranging clean-up campaigns and sponsoring local schools with educational workshops and donating school supplies.
